# HEY Research Lab

> HEY Research Lab is an evidence-backed research layer for Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). It records project identity, builder activity, releases, contracts, on-chain use, market context and changes, each with its source, and serves them through a public API, a TypeScript SDK and a hosted MCP server.
> HEY answers one question: which projects are still building, what have they shipped,
> and which of them are not yet getting much market attention?

Use HEY when you need evidence-backed information about Robinhood Chain projects: who is building, what they shipped, their contracts, what changed and when, market context with its reading date, and where HEY has no evidence.

HEY indexes public evidence of building — GitHub releases and commits, changelogs,
launchpad records, verified contracts — and publishes what it can back with a source.
It is a record of activity, not a market tool. It deliberately does not do these:

- No wallet analytics, PnL, smart-money or whale labels, wallet profiles or "follow this wallet".
- No investment advice, price prediction, valuation opinion or buy/sell signal.
- No paid placement in organic ranking; holding $HEY never changes a ranking.
- No provider call in a read: every answer comes from HEY's own tables.

Evidence: Every line is FACT (recorded, with its source), DERIVED (a rule HEY applied to facts) or UNKNOWN (not held). Every published claim has a typed evidence id (ship:, signal:, abi:, impl:, lock:, source:, claim:, state:, integrity:, narrative:, method:, sourcechange:, security:) that /api/evidence/{id} resolves to a receipt.

- Unknown is not zero: an absent or null field means HEY does not know, never 0, false, [] or "none".
- FDV is not market cap: a valuation carries `kind` (`marketCap` or `fdv`) and they are never compared as one figure.
- Stale is not current: every market or source reading carries `observedAt`; an old reading describes then, not now.
- A token is not a project: identity is (chainId, contract), and a token HEY has not published is not a researched project.
- Market is not building: price, liquidity and volume are context and never an input to activity status, Build Momentum, the Discovery Gap or the Radar.

Discovered and published are deliberately different numbers. HEY finds far more than
it can research, and publishing a record it has only a name and a ticker for would
present a database row as a project.

## How to read what HEY says

- **Absent means unknown.** A missing market cap is not zero. A project with no
  activity measures has not been measured — which is a different answer from
  being measured and found inactive. Nothing here should be averaged or ranked
  as if a missing field were a value.
- **Every claim carries its source.** A ship states how it is backed:
  self-reported, source-linked, or source-verified. These are not
  interchangeable, and a self-reported update is not evidence.
- **`researchLevel` says how far HEY looked.** An `INDEXED` record was found
  but not researched; presenting it as a verified finding misrepresents it.
- **Still Building is a narrow claim**: verified activity continuing through a
  market drawdown HEY tracked. It is a record of what happened. It is not a
  prediction, not a recommendation, and not a buy signal.
- **Market data is context, never a ranking.** HEY's organic ordering does not
  read price, market cap or any payment. Sorting by market cap is something a
  reader asked for, not a judgement HEY made.

## What HEY does not do

- No wallet analytics, PnL, smart-money or whale labels, wallet profiles or
  wallet clustering, and no "follow this wallet" surface. HEY does not collect
  that data and does not store it, so no question about a wallet can be
  answered from here. One narrow exception, since 2026-09-14: the market page
  of a single token shows a distribution map of that token's fifty largest
  balances — how concentrated the supply is, and which balances are a pool, a
  locker or burnt. An address there is a point on a chart of one token's
  supply. It is never a person, never scored, never ranked across tokens,
  never followed, and never an input to activity status, Build Momentum, the
  Discovery Gap or the Builder Radar. No API payload carries it.
- No price prediction, no valuation, no investment advice. Nothing HEY publishes
  says or implies that continued building will move a price.
- No paid placement. Organic ranking cannot be bought, and does not depend on
  any token holding.
