Legate is a research swarm. You give it a token, a protocol, or a topic, and five agents go read the live data in parallel and hand back one briefing. The work it removes is the tab-juggling. Price on CoinGecko. Liquidity on DexScreener. Holders and authorities on Solscan. Governance on Snapshot. Then twenty minutes of scrolling social to work out whether anyone is actually paying attention. For a Solana pair that listed an hour ago, half of that data isn't indexed anywhere yet. Chatbots answer this question badly. They return clean, confident numbers with nothing behind them, which is worse than no answer at all. **Legate cites everything.** Every figure in a briefing carries the source it came from and the timestamp it was sampled at, marked `[live]` or `[cached]`. When a source is unreachable, the briefing prints that it was unreachable instead of filling the gap. Sentiment is scored by a lexicon in code, not by a language model, and the briefing says so rather than presenting a percentage as fact. It reads Solana first — mint authority, freeze authority, holder concentration, pump.fun origin, day-1 pairs the moment liquidity lands — and handles EVM tokens by deriving the chain from the address.
