A shim is a scrap of brass you slide under a machine foot so the whole floor can pretend it was built straight. Nobody specs it, nobody photographs it, it never appears on the drawing. Pull it out and the lathe walks. SHIM is a token about that scrap. One billion fixed, whole supply on the curve, no pre-mine, no team vesting. The joke is in the mark: drive a wedge into the gap and the gap left over is the same wedge, smaller.
