The image shows the "transformation" story: weak Cashcat -> jacked "Buffcat" Robinhood. That's why people use the Buffcat image to celebrate or reference Robinhood itself on its posts. It's a fun ongoing joke that flips the origin story into a victory lap for the brand that actually made it. Cashcat gets the nostalgia, but Buffcat gets the glory as the end result.
